My first yoga class in 2001 has woke up a yoga teacher in me. Immediately after the first class, after getting back home, I held a yoga class for my households, including a part of the yoga class of guided meditation. Over the next years, I’ve been learning yoga from excellent teachers, and each time they have been easily awakening in me deeper experiences, to which yoga is introducing us.
Asanas (poses), which sometimes I stayed in for a long time, managed to pull out of me deeply rooted cramps that have emerged due to stress which I have been daily exposed.
I endured life, pregnancy, childbirth, shocks, ups and downs, leavings, and separations, all by breathing deeply the present reality, breathing the way yoga taught me. Yoga has always helped me to connect with my inner self in a deep, subtle way. It has encouraged me to observe the truth always, no meter how hard it was sometimes. By being inside of myself through breath and pose, as I have learned in yoga, everything that burdened me became obvious. Therefore, I have interpreted intruders, such as worry, fear and other negative emotions, into deeper insights in the acceptance of life, so the exchanges of fortunes and misfortunes floated from a deep consciousness as a blessing to lead me to bliss.
Therefore, my yoga class is just that: a search to inner peace, but through the comprehension of truth about yourself and through coming back to yourself by following the path to happiness. Yoga is a movement and sometimes is a standstill in a position, which harmonized with the breath, cleanses the body, balances the energy flow in the body, and calms the mind.
Yoga can develop strength, condition, and elasticity of the body, however, as the ancient knowledge, it substantially teaches us how to remain physically, energetically, and psychologically healthy. This kind of health is the root of personality development, the basis for any further search for truth and happiness.
